1What Is CJC-1295?
CJC-1295 is a synthetic analog of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) - a naturally occurring hormone that signals the pituitary gland to produce and release growth hormone (GH). Unlike natural GHRH, which breaks down within minutes, CJC-1295 is modified to last much longer in the body - studies have shown its effects persisting for days. It is studied for its potential to stimulate growth hormone release in research models. Available for in-vitro research purposes only.
3How It Works
The pituitary gland sits at the base of the brain and produces growth hormone, which regulates muscle growth, fat metabolism, bone density, and cellular repair. Under normal conditions, the hypothalamus sends GHRH signals to trigger GH release. CJC-1295 mimics these signals but is modified to avoid the enzymes that normally break down GHRH, dramatically extending its half-life. In animal studies, it has been shown to substantially elevate GH and IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor 1, another key growth signal) levels.
4What Researchers Have Observed
These findings are from pre-clinical and early-phase research. Results in human subjects have not been established.
