1What Is Ipamorelin?

Ipamorelin is a synthetic peptide that belongs to a class called growth hormone secretagogues (GHS). Unlike CJC-1295 which mimics GHRH, ipamorelin works differently - it mimics ghrelin, a hormone produced in the stomach that also stimulates GH release but through a separate pathway. Researchers often study ipamorelin alongside CJC-1295 because the two pathways appear to work synergistically to stimulate GH release. Research grade only; not for human use.

Ipamorelin binds to the GHSR (growth hormone secretagogue receptor), also known as the "ghrelin receptor." When this receptor is activated, it triggers the pituitary gland to release growth hormone. What makes ipamorelin notable in research is its selectivity - in animal studies, it appears to stimulate GH release without significantly elevating cortisol (a stress hormone) or prolactin, unlike some other GH secretagogues.
